Ramos had some sort of exchange with Pique as he left the pitch. The Barcelona captain was quick to say something to his Real Madrid counterpart as he walked off. Interesting.

There's no defence for Ramos when you see the replay. He dived in on Messi with two feet and the referee had no choice but to show the Real Madrid centre back a straight red card.

SENT OFF! Ramos has been shown a straight red card for a rash challenge on Messi. The Bernabeu is up in arms! Real Madrid have been reduced to 10 men and are up against it now.

Now the pressure is on Real Madrid. They have been in charge at the top of La Liga for the majority of the season. This result would see Barca draw level, although Real would still have a game in hand.

Barcelona have taken risks in this second half and they have paid off! They know that they need three points from this game to drag themselves back into title contention. What a big goal.
