That was a good effort from Kakuta. He struck a shot towards goal first time, but it flashed over the crossbar. Deportivo La Coruna might be behind, but they are causing problems.

Deportivo La Coruna are being forced into a change early on here, with Juanfran coming off to be replaced by Laure. He must have picked up an injury.

This has been excellent entertainment early on at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. Sevilla have been the better of the two teams, but Deportivo La Coruna also look dangerous on the counter.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Sevilla 2 (9 mins - Pablo Sarabia) Deportivo La Coruna 1. Sevilla have regained the lead! Escudero pings the shot at goal from a tight angle, with the goalkeeper spilling it. Sarabia was on hand to finish from close range, high into the roof of the net.

Monchi is the man credited with turning Sevilla into the club they are today. He somehow manages to keep the club at the top despite losing their best players almost every summer.

Of course, the biggest news at Sevilla over the past two weeks has been the news that Monchi will be leaving as the club's sporting director at the end of the season. They will miss him.

Big questions have been asked of Sampaoli in recent weeks. In the space of about a month he went from being tipped for the Barcelona job to fighting for his current job at Sevilla.

That wasn't in the script. That opening goal after just a minute was supposed to set up Sevilla for a result to get their season back on track, but they have been pegged back already.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Sevilla 1 Deportivo La Coruna 1 (5 mins - Gael Kakuta). What a crazy start to the match at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan! Deportivo have equalised immediately! Kakuta burst into the box and angled a shot into the far corner of the net.

Jovetic is back in the Sevilla lineup and is back scoring goals. It's dificult to understand why Sampaoli benched him a number of weeks ago. His side look so much more dangerous with him starting.
3'
Well, that was quite something. Sevilla came into this match on the back of a dismal run of form which saw them thumped at the Camp Nou during the week. What a way to respond!

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Sevilla 1 (1 mins - Stevan Jovetic) Deportivo La Coruna 0. Sevilla have taken the lead after a minute! N'Zonzi got to the byline and sent his cross to the near post where Jovetic was on hand to flick home a finish! What a start!
