Well, nobody could contest that this match wasn't entertaining. Huesca held their own for much of the game and had chances to extend their lead when they had one. Real Madrid were extremely vulnerable at the back, but in the end they just had too much quality for the side rooted at the foot of La Liga.

This was an experimental team selection from Zidane and I'm not sure if it has really worked. Benzema has been Man of the Match, but the defence was all over the place all night.

The Huesca players were arguing that Ramos was offside when the cross from Bale was played into the box, and the replays back up their case. The VAR allows the goal to stand, though.

Four minutes of stoppage time to be played at the end of the match.

Bale's outside-of-the-boot cross was knocked down by Ramos inside the box, Benzema created the space for the shot and the French striker guided a right-footed strike into the far corner of the net!

It feels like this game still has one last twist left in it, and it could go the way of either team. Huesca are causing problems on the rapid counter attack, while Real Madrid are peppering the opposition box with crosses.

This is an incredible end to this match. Real Madrid are throwing bodies forward, but the more they do that the more space they leave in behind for Huesca to exploit on the counter attack.

Santamaria parries! The Huesca goalkeeper might have done better with that. Vazquez's shot from distance was a powerful one, but it was straight at Santamaria. No swerve, either.

Jeers! Bale loses the ball cheaply and the home supporters are on the back of the Welsh winger! The Real Madrid fans are turning on their own team here. They are second best right now.

Huesca are not sitting back here. Not at all. They sense that there could be a famous result for the taking and Real Madrid are looking shaky at the back. The away side are on top.

Should have tested Zidane! The ball fell to Herrera on the edge of the Real Madrid box, he had time to pick his spot, but he side foots wide of the far post. He should have hit the target!

Zidane is also going for it and has taken off Llorente, a midfielder, for Mariano, a striker.

Huesca make a change of their own and they throw on Juanpi, who will give them more presence in attack.

The young, Uruguayan midfielder Valverde is thrown on for the final 10 minutes at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Odriozola was in behind! The replays show that the young right back was offside, so VAR would have chalked the goal off, but Odriozola's low cross is saved by the Huesca keeper.

That goal came against the run of play. Real Madrid finally seemed to have Huesca under control, but evidently not. This would be a famous result for the team rooted to the foot of La Liga.
