Guardiola looked set to get on the end of a dangerous cross into the middle, but Trippier and Hermoso managed to crowd him out and make sure the header wasn't made on goal.

Morata is one of the best headers of the ball in La Liga and so it's somewhat surprising that Atletico Madrid don't play more crosses into the middle for him to get on the end of.

There has been some nice inventive play from Atletico Madrid in the final third of the match. Felix has facilitated a lot of it, dropping deep to pick up the ball and spin it in beind.

A few moments ago, Herrera was presented with a shooting opportunity from 25 yards out. The Mexican midfielder leaned back, though, and sent his effort over the crossbar. Not anywhere close.

What a pass that was by Rubo who saw the run of Fernandes from deep and managed to play the pass into his path. The finish from the new signing was lacking in conviction.
