La Liga is back! Welcome to LIVE coverage of the Seville Derby, and potentially one of the strangest editions of this famous fixture. With no fans present and neither team playing a real fixture for three months it is hard to know what to expect, but it’s usually a lively affair when these cross-town rivals clash and completing a league double over Betis would aid Sevilla's quest for a top-four finish. Team news is on the way shortly...

Sevilla players have been in trouble for floating lockdown rules during the crisis, and the head of La Liga has warned players to behave after others in the league followed the Sevilla quartet's ill-advised lead.

Sevilla are third at kick-off but only five points separate the five sides from third to seventh. Betis, 12th on 33 points, are firmly mid-table.

The last six meetings between these two have produced 24 goals.

Sevilla boss Julen Lopetegui was able to roll out some of the usual derby-day cliches before this game - a clash of "two teams with a lot of passion and desire" in his words - but also acknowledged how unique the event would be. "The sound of football is going to be different and we'll have to adapt," is one area he highlighted.
Training was another. "We have done very little 11-a-side football because, along with Betis, we're the team that have trained the least, only eight training sessions," Lopetegui said. "We've had a couple of windows where we've tried to do 11-a-side as accurately as possible. We have to adapt with a good face and attitude, and take advantage of the time to get as sharp as possible. Tomorrow there will be an emotional component as well as the physical effort involved."

Sevilla, sitting third, look out of the title race at this stage, but that's hardly because of scintillating form from either Real Madrid or Barcelona. One thing to have hamstrung both of those clubs this season is the inability of their new signings to live up to expectations.

It’s difficult to know how much home advantage will be lost with no fans, but Sevilla were seven games unbeaten at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan before the coronavirus-enforced break. They have lost just two of their 18 games at home this season.

As part of the new normal, each La Liga team can name 12 substitutes and make five changes for the rest of the season. Given the heat of a Spanish summer, that may prove very useful.

No huge surprises in the visitors' line-up either, with Nabil Fekir one to watch as ever. The legendary Joaquin is among the substitutes.
REAL BETIS: Robles, Emerson, Bartra, Sidnei, Alex Moreno, Alena, Guido Rodriguez, Canales; Fekir, Borja Iglesias, Tello.

Lacas Ocampos, a fitness doubt at one stage, starts for Sevilla. Nemanja Gudelj is suspended, but their midfield does include ex-Manchester City man Fernando and Oliver Torres. Luuk de Jong, who leads the line, scored the winner in the reverse fixture.
SEVILLA: Vaclik, Navas, Diego Carlos, Kounde, Reguilon, Fernando, Jordan, Torres, Ocampos, Munir, De Jong.

First though, here's a glimpse of some of the latest transfer gossip from the continent, with Spanish giants Real Madrid the latest club linked to Bayer Leverkusen wunderkind Kai Havertz.
