This was a peak Atletico Madrid performance and result. They defended well and took their chance when it was presented to them. However, the hosts deserved to win. Barcelona just didn't offer enough. How many chances did Barca actually create? Not many at all.

The problem for Barcelona is the more players they send forward in search of an equaliser, the more space they leave in behind for Atletico Madrid to exploit on the break.
