Koeman isn't exactly exuding confidence on the bench that his side can turn this one around. The TV camera picks out the Barcelona boss with his head down, staring at the floor...

Barcelona are well on top at the moment. They are in control, but Cadiz are doing a good job of staying compact and organised at the back. Plugging the gaps in behind.

Messi is dropping very deep in an attempt to make something happen for Barcelona. He's the one picking up the ball and driving it forward. Braithwaite and Griezmann up top.

It's clear how much Barcelona already trust Dest. The American has seen plenty of the ball in this first half. Dest also seems to have developed an understanding with Messi.

Koeman does have some decent options on the bench should he wish to change things up for the second half. Dembele is maybe the most obvious option. He offers them a lot.

30 minutes in and Cadiz are a third of the way to a famous victory. Keep in mind that they have already beaten Real Madrid this season. Can they do the double against the two rivals?

Alcala comes on for the injured Mauro as Cadiz make a change to their team.

Mauro tries to continue, but he will have to come off here. His left foot was stood upon at a corner kick and the home side will have to make a change in central defence. Not ideal.

Injury! Cadiz might be forced into a change here, with Mauro down on the ground. Did he collide with his own goalkeeper, Ledesma? There is some activity on the home team's bench.

Dest has settled in nicely at Barcelona. The American international has been given a run in the first team following the injury to Roberto. He gives Barca a different dimension.

Messi freekick is saved! The Barcelona number 10 gets his set piece effort on target, but Ledesma makes the save. It wasn't the most convincing of stops, but he kept the ball out of the net.

Cadiz are a very streetwise team. They know how to handle themselves and look to back themselves in the physical contest against Barcelona. The home side won't back down.

It's not quite the usual 4-2-3-1 system from Koeman this evening. This looks more like a 4-3-3. In fact, at times it's actually a 4-4-2 with Braithwaite and Griezmann as the front two.

This has been a decent response from Barcelona, but they have yet to find the back of the net. They are creating chances, though. Cadiz are having to do some defending.

Chance for Barcelona! Messi plays Braithwaite in behind the Cadiz backline, his shot is a good one, but Ledesma makes a good save with an outstretched leg. That was a decent chance.
