Barcelona can't afford to be complacent here. They dominated the first half, but Cadiz have already shown more attacking ambition in this second period. Barca need another goal.

One of the most remarkable things about Pedri and the impact he has made at Barcelona is the relationship he has struck up with Messi. The two players look to be on the same wavelength.

Pedri has one again been key for Barcelona this afternoon. The teenager has enjoyed an exceptional first season at the Camp Nou after joining from Las Palmas in the summer window.

Chance for the away side! The ball fell to Fali just inside the Barcelona box, but the strike from the Cadiz man takes a deflection and flashes wide of the target. That was an opportunity.

As good as Barcelona were in the first half, Koeman will surely want his team to score at least one more to cement their dominance. Will Cadiz show more attacking intent?

This is a more orthodox looking back four from Koeman this afternoon. He has used Araujo and Mingueza in defence a lot this season, but Dest and Pique are back for Barcelona after injury.

Injuries have hindered Barcelona all the way through the season. Busquets, Messi, Ansu, Pique, Araujo… they have all spent spells on the sidelines over the course of the campaign.

A second goal before the break would really put Barcelona in a commanding position. They are still dominating and are pressing for another breakthrough. Cadiz playing on the break.

This has been a good performance from Barcelona in this first half, but they have had to work to create scoring opportunities. Cadiz's low defensive block has made things tricky.

Chance for an equaliser! Very nearly the perfect response from Cadiz. They got down the right side and swung the cross into the box, but Sobrino could only knee just wide of the target!

Looking at the award of the penalty kick, Pedri was just too quick for the Cadiz defenders who bundled the teenage playmaker to the ground inside the penalty area.
