Good afternoon and welcome to live coverage of Sevilla v Valencia.

It’s all over! Sevilla’s La Liga title hopes are still just about alive thanks to this 1-0 win. It’s been hard work at times, but they just about deserve the three points on the balance of play.

That was the chance! Valencia open up their hosts right at the last, but Bono gratefully makes a routine save.

Paulista looks for a late penalty but there’s nothing going and in fact the Valencia man is the one to pick up the booking for his attempt to dupe the officials.

Sevilla defend it well, but this game has suddenly got a little nervy for the hosts, and there are five minutes of added time too - plenty for a late suckerpunch!

Corner for Valencia. Surely not?

Sevilla have been in complete control and are just a few minutes away from the win that would keep them in the four-way title fight. But all it takes is one moment of magic from the visitors to end all of that sort of talk.

Since the teams started making changes there has been nothing really from Valencia, whose effort has rather fizzled out.

On comes Musah as Valencia look to get some extra pace on the field to try and threaten something on the break.

If Sevilla see this game out for the win then it really does keep them in the title hunt, although they’ll be reliant on the teams ahead of them. It would move them just three points off league leaders Atletico Madrid, two behind Barcelona and one point shy of Real Madrid… although both Madrid clubs will have a game in hand.

The old swagger of Sevilla is back now and their toying with their visitors at the moment. It’s still just 1-0 though, so they could do with another before really relaxing into their keep-ball display.

Sevilla have hit Valencia twice on the break since the goal and it’s pretty clear there are going to be some chances for them as Valencia push in search of an equaliser.

The goal stands after a lengthy check. That’s huge for Sevilla.

GOOOAAALLL!!! This time En-Nesyri makes no mistake, making a perfectly-timed run to nip in behind the Valencia defence and slotting home past the onrushing Cillessen. It’ll be checked by VAR though…

En-Nesyri finds space in the box and is picked out by a gem of a cross, but he slides his header wide of the far post. He should have done better there.

There’s a change on the way for Valencia too, with Cheryshev waiting on the touchline to come on against his former side.

Suso has a crack but it’s straight at the keeper. That’s more like it from Sevilla though, who have barely let go of the ball since their triple substitution.

Okay, this game has really opened up now as a ball fizzes across the face of the Valencia goal. It’s not enough to halt the substitutions for the hosts though, who are making a triple change!

Valencia threaten again but Bono makes a couple of decent saves. The visitors have been so good since the interval, they deserve to be ahead.

Vallejo sees a close-range effort blocked after a lightning counter-attack from the visitors. They’ve been the better of the two sides since the restart.
