Barcelona’s season has been very underwhelming so far. While they lost Messi in the summer, while they have a young squad, they are a lot better than they have shown.

The flag went up against Akhomach after that last opportunity, but the replays suggest he was onside. The teenager probably should have hit the back of the net from that distance.

Chance for Akhomach! That would have been the dream debut for the 17-year-old, but he puts over the target when he might have found the back of the net instead! Good opportunity.

There will be a lot of intrigue around Xavi as Barca boss. He has been spoken about as a future manager of the Camp Nou club for a long time. There are lofty expectations of him.

Xavi was appointed Barcelona manager the day before their 3-3 draw against Celta Vigo two weeks ago. This, however, will be the first time that the former midfielder has actually taken a game.

'Xavi, Xavi!' The Camp Nou chants the name of their new manager. It's fair to say there are great expectations of the former midfielder as Barcelona boss. Can he live up to them?
