Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored four goals as Paris Saint-Germain thrashed Troyes 9-0 to clinch their fourth successive Ligue 1 title on Sunday.
Edinson Cavani’s missed penalty mattered little as Ibrahimovic led PSG to the title in mid-March in stunning fashion with a sensational three-goal blitz in just nine second-half minutes.
Cavani netted a brace with Javier Pastore, Adrien Rabiot and an own goal from Matthieu Saunier giving Laurent Blanc’s side the title in emphatic fashion against the hapless Troyes, who had substitute Lossemy Karaboue sent off late on.
But it was down to Ibrahimovic to fittingly cap off the performance with a fourth goal in the dying minutes.
It was a glorious day for Ibrahimovic and PSG with the Swede having personally recorded his 13th league title and 28th career trophy.
