Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres is reportedly being pursued by Arsenal but speculation suggests the north London side could have their summer plans derailed by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is a senior adviser to AC Milan. Elsewhere, Arsenal are reportedly "monitoring" the availability of Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White, and Manchester United could make a move for Juventus' Gleison Bremer.

Zlatan could derail Arsenal's summer plans

Arsenal's summer plans to land Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres could be derailed by none other than Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
That's according to a report in the Mirror, which claims AC Milan are also interested in signing the Sweden international, who has scored 36 goals in 39 games so far this term.
Ibrahimovic returned to the Serie A club as a senior adviser in December.
The outlet writes: "According to Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, both Arsenal and AC Milan are keen on a move for the Swede. The report states that Arsenal are in the 'front row' to complete a deal, but Milan have a potential trump card in the form of Ibrahimovic.
"Ibrahimovic is Gyokeres' idol and the 42-year-old became a senior advisor to Milan following his retirement from football last year. As a result, the club are said to be hopeful Ibrahimovic can 'push him towards Milan'."

Gibbs-White being 'monitored' by Arsenal

Arsenal are reportedly "monitoring" the availability of Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White.
Forest, who were hit with a four-point deduction for allegedly breaching Premier League financial rules, are said to be looking to balance the books by selling players.
A report in the Star states: "It's understood the title-chasing Gunners are now monitoring his availability with interest.
"Mikel Arteta is currently well stocked up top, but the Spanish chief wants to reshape his ranks again once the transfer window reopens. Emile Smith Rowe, who has become a periphery figure at the Emirates, is facing an exit from north London.
"And versatile Gibbs-White has been shortlisted as a potential arrival who could fill his space in Arteta's revamped squad."

Man Utd interested in Bremer

Manchester United could make a move for Juventus defender Gleison Bremer.
Erik ten Hag's side are said to be interested in bolstering their defence and the Brazilian, who has a reported release clause of £43 million, could fit the bill.
Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite is also linked with a move to Old Trafford.
A report in The Sun states: "Manchester United are interested in signing Juventus star Gleison Bremer, according to reports.
"The Red Devils have been heavily tipped to sign a defender since last summer with a number of targets linked.
"Speculation has ramped up following the appointment of Dan Ashworth as sporting director, with the former Newcastle chief identifying potential upgrades.
"One player of interest is centre-back Bremer, according to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport.
"The Brazilian only signed a new contract in December, tying him down to Juventus until 2028.
"However it is claimed Bremer has a release clause in his deal worth £43 million.
"United could make a move for the 27-year-old this summer, although new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is keen to snap up young talent as opposed to ageing stars like Casemiro or Raphael Varane.
"That means The Red Devils could pursue a transfer for Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite, who earned his first call up to the England squad this week.
"Everton have priced the youngster at an eye-watering £75m however, with United hoping to negotiate the price down to £50m."

Mbappe's next move to be announced before Euro 2024

Kylian Mbappe's next move in football will be unveiled before the European Championship starts in Germany, according to a report in the Mail.
With his contract at Paris Saint-Germain due to expire this summer, Mbappe is expected to join Real Madrid, although an official statement has not yet been made.
The outlet states: "Kylian Mbappe has revealed he will make an announcement about his future before Euro 2024 gets underway.
"'People will know my future before the Euros. I'm very calm about it,' he told Telefoot.
"'My future is no longer a huge topic at the club, no one talks to me about it anymore.
"'I’ll be at the Euros with calm head, ready to do great things.'"
