Sergio Ramos will finally make his long-awaited PSG debut and here's what his boss said about the Spanish defender yesterday: "He is carrying himself normally, in a professional manner. He's trying to help the team. It's a positive. He's a player that we know, with a lot of experience, a great champion. He can bring his knowledge, his values. He needs to play. We'll have to see how he adapts to a league that is very different to La Liga. It's difficult to predict that. We've got to give him the time that he needs."

Pochettino on today's game: "We're used to playing in the afternoon or at 21:00. We've got to leave today to go to Saint-Étienne, to sleep there and play at 13:00. But that doesn't change much when it comes to training in the week. The missing guys? We've got to find solutions. Thankfully we've got a large squad. It's good for the players who are low on game time to be in the squad and have the possibility of playing"

Former Sunderland forward Wahbi Khazri leads Saint-Etienne's attack in the absence of Romain Hamouma.

Saint-Etienne's leaky defence are going to have a task keeping out this lot. Lionel Messi, who scored his first Ligue 1 goal last weekend, plays in a supporting role behind Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Angel Di Maria.

We're still awaiting the official team news but we know Keylor Navas is missing and Georginio Wijnaldum and Marco Verratti are also unavailable. Add Ander Herrera, Rafinha and Julian Draxler to the list and PSG are quite depleted for this afternoon's tie.

PSG may be 11 points clear atop of Ligue 1, but they've won just one of their last three away from home and face a resurgent St Etienne side hoping to make it three wins in a row. However, not since November 2012 have Paris Saint Germain lost to St Etienne in any competition.
