Reims into third with win over Montpellier after Teddy Teuma brace, Lorient crush Lille in Ligue 1

Reims are third in Ligue 1 after Teddy Teuma's brace helped them to a 3-1 victory over Montpellier on Sunday afternoon. Elsewhere, 10-man Le Havre managed to earn a draw at Rennes, Strasbourg defeated Toulouse 2-0, and Clermont Foot remain bottom of the league without a point as Metz grabbed a 1-0 win after a winner from striker Georges Mikautadze. Elsewhere, Lille lost heavily at Lorient.

Reims defeated Montpellier 3-1 in a victory that took them into third place in Ligue 1 on Sunday, while Lorient beat Lille 4-1.
Yunis Abdelhamid opened the scoring for the away side after just eight minutes, and Teddy Teuma added another on 41 minutes.
The home team had some brief hope as Musa Al-Taamari pulled one back deep into first-half injury time, before Teuma sealed his brace before the hour mark.
The win took Reims into third on sixth points, with Montpellier ninth with four points.
Meanwhile, Le Havre came back from 2-0 to grab a draw at Rennes despite Samuel Grandsir’s 62nd-minute red card.
Ludovic Blas scored after 10 minutes before Rennes doubled their lead through Christopher Wooh 14 minutes later.
Nabil Alioul halved the deficit on 40 minutes, and eight minutes after Grandsir was given a red card, Alioul scored the leveller.
Le Havre are 14th with two points and are yet to taste victory, while Rennes are sixth with five points.
Strasbourg were 2-0 winners over Toulouse as Emanuel Emegha and then Jean-Ricner Bellegarde’s late effort secured three points in Alsace.
The win moves Strasbourg into fifth with two wins and a defeat, while Toulouse are 11th with four points.
Ligue 1 new boys Clermont Foot suffered another defeat when in-form Georges Mikautadze grabbed a winner in the 69th minute for visitors Metz.
Clermont are bottom with three defeats, while Metz are 12th with a win and a draw.
Lorient went ahead in their encounter with Lille in the ninth minute through Laurent Abergel, and doubled that lead through Julien Ponceau a minute later.
In the second half, Jonathan David kept his early season form going to get one back for Lille on 55 minutes, before Romain Faivre and Vincent Le Goff both notched for the home side.
Lorient now sit seventh, with Lille 10th.
In the day's evening kick-off, Nice held Lyon to a 0-0 draw, earning 16th-placed Lyon their first point of the season, and leaving Nice in 13th on three points.
