Norwich City have swooped on Bromley to sign teenage defender Kellen Fisher.
The 19-year-old was a product of the Bromley academy, and rose through the ranks before making his debut in December of 2021.
Fisher took his career forward last term when establishing himself in manager Andy Woodman’s plans.
He was a regular in the second half of the 2022/23 season, with his performances for The Ravens catching the eye of scouts from higher up the ladder.
Fisher will make the leap from the Vanarama National League to the Championship after Norwich agreed an undisclosed fee with Bromley.
The full-back will depart with words of praise from Woodman.
“From day one when I came to Bromley I could see Kellen was a really good young talent,” Woodman told Bromley’s official website. “The key for me was when to expose him to first-team football and once I did, he just excelled.
"I’m extremely proud and chuffed to have seen another young player under my coaching career progress. Kellen will no doubt have a bright future.”
Fisher had no hesitation in putting his name to a long-term deal with The Canaries.
"I'm buzzing to have signed for the club,” Fisher said. “I can't wait to get started, and get pre-season underway.
"When Norwich came in, I was really excited. There's a vision, there's a plan, and there's the obvious pathway for me.
"I know there's a lot of youth players that get brought through the club, so it was a no-brainer for me."
