Mike asks: "Where's Robbie Keane? One striker on the pitch, one on the bench and Bentley as the next most attacking player.... makes us look slightly less gung-ho than normal I suppose, but hope we are setting out to win this one." I would imagine Keane is booking his train back up to Glasgow for that January loan to Celtic.

I didn't catch what Harry said. Probably something about the England job. OK, I'll stop it now.

Owen Coyle has sagely pointed out that Tottenham are not just Gareth Bale. That's why he's a Premier League manager and you're not.

Right on cue, this from Bryony: "spurs will win 10-2 go spurs" Well, it doesn't hurt to be optimistic.

So it's good news for my Fantasy team as Palacios starts, although the Honduran does have a booking in him. Gretar Steinsson has the job of taming Gareth Bale, although one imagines he'll get some help from Fabrice Muamba among others. Phil Neville and Seamus Coleman double-teamed the rampaging Welshman when Spurs played Everton two weeks ago.

Spurs have conceded once in each of their last nine PL matches, and conceded the opening goal in each of their last six. This is their longest run without a clean sheet in three years. If they concede today it will be their longest since a Premier League club record 20-match streak from November 2006 to March 2007.

Bolton have failed to win or score in their last three PL home matches against London opposition - drawing the last two 0-0, both against Fulham. Their only victory in the last seven was 3-1 against West Ham in December 2009.
