Lovely play by Chelsea….Torres to Malouda to Kalou back to Malouda and the Frenchman has a chance to shoot but fires straight at Hart.

Kalou pops up at the edge of the box again and his shot is deflected away for a corner.

Silva with an important piece of defending stops Malouda on the edge of the box…not his usual role but he did well there.

No changes on either side.

And we are back underway....

And there is the half-time whistle...tight but interesting so far.

Toure with a lovely flick to Silva sets up a City attack but then when he gets the ball back he gives it away cheaply with a poor pass.

Well after I praised Kompany…he then goes and slips as a Torres cross comes into the box. Kalou with a little spin and shot gets it on target but it is straight at Hart.

Great feet by Kalou sees him skip into the box but superb defending by Vincent Kompany to just guide him out of play. What a defender the Belgian is.

Malouda and Richards with a clash of heads….Malouda will have to go off and get some treatment.

Cole gets a cross all wrong and it just loops safely into the hands of Hart.

Lovely flick for Torres sets Ramires away….he checks it back to Kompany but the City man slides in to block the shot again. Great defending.

A corner bounces up and looks like it will fall for Ivanovic but the ball is just too high for a shot and too low for a header.

Superb tackle from De Jong as he slides in before Torres can get a shot away….

Kolarov feels he is tripped by Ramires but that was a fair tackle….

Chelsea try some close passing near the City box but Roberto Mancini's side are a solid unit.

Milner with a simply awful effort from distance…shooting has not been either team's strong point so far…

Lampard with another shot that is just not even close to threatening Joe Hart's goal.
