Saha felled again after being played in by Distin. Tiote and Williamson allow him no room.

It looks as if Saha was caught by Steven Taylor's elbow as they competed for a ball in the air - he'll be alright to continue. The ball is heaved back towards Howard by Harper.

Ball knocked out of play with Everton on the front foot - Saha has taken a knock and looks to be in some discomfort.

Messy from Newcastle - a series of fortunate bounces break Everton's way - but Beckford and Osman in turn cannot quite control to get a shot away, and eventually it falls to Harper to clear.

Tiote almost loses out in a midfield battle with Saha - but the Everton man has no support and the ball eventually bounces back the Ivorian's way.

The cameras pan to Shola Ameobi, who is on the bench for Newcastle today. He could have a role to play later as the Magpies are in need of some firepower.

Saha eased off the ball very easily by Coloccini. Still things yet to settle down in this encounter.

Good work from the Toon - Lovenkrands leaping well to flick the ball on, Best latching on to it and holding up the ball. A bit route one, but it works - free-kick from 35 yards as Neville transgresses.

Slick move from Everton, including a great pass from Arteta, but the through ball to Baines on the left wing is just beyond the full-back's reach.

Neville and Tiote clash in midfield early on. That looks as if it hurt the Everton skipper, who waits for the physio to give him the once over before hesitantly rising to his feet. Free-kick for Everton.
