SUPERB SAVE FROM MIGNOLET…..great ball over the top of the defence bounces up lovely for Suarez….he takes it first-time on the half-volley and it looks to be heading for the corner but Mignolet makes a brilliant low save to bat it away.

Sunderland have a free-kick in an attacking area but Liverpool defend it.

Mensah was also booked for the foul on Spearing...no doubt it was a foul but inside or out.....?

Kuyt calmly slots the penalty home but why the referee change his mind? He was in a better position to see the incident than the linesman…Steve Bruce is furious and understandably so.

PENALTY FOR LIVERPOOL!!!! But HUGE controversy……John Mensah makes a mistake and that lets Spearing in….Mensah then brings down Spearing but it looked outside the box…that is what the referee gave but the linesman convinced the referee to overrule it

Whenever Andy Carroll gives the ball away…which has happened a few times, the Sunderland fans are loving it given that he is an ex-Newcastle man.

It is quite alarming how little possession Liverpool have had….they literally cannot get out of their half at the moment.
