Big miss by Jerome Thomas, who wins the ball 25 yards from goal and drives towards the target. He beats two Everton defenders before rounding Tim Howard, but Thomas's shot is cleared off the line by Hibbert.
26'
Heitinga ghosts in unmarked at the back post and heads the ball a fraction wide. Everton getting closer.
25'
Anichebe shoots from distance and his shot deflects off Tamas and goes just wide of the post for a corner.

Arteta also saw a shot blocked in what was a chaotic few seconds for WBA.

WBA survive by the skin of their teeth as Shorey is caught in possession by his own corner flag. The ball is played in to Osman in the box, who dances his way through the penalty area before seeing his shot blocked.

Everton catch WBA out with a short corner as Baines whips it in. WBA clear but it falls to Coleman on the edge of the area, who fires over.

The referee didn't see the save an has awarded a goal kick, much to Brunt's dissatisfaction.

Brunt fires the free-kick goalbound from what looked like an impossible angle and, if not for the fingertips of Tim Howard, it would have doubled WBA's lead. Brilliant effort.

Odemwingie's movement is impressive again as he draws a free-kick out of Baines, on the very edge of the penalty area on the right-hand side.

Certainly a lively start to this one.

Big miss by Anichebe, who turns Olsson rather easily, before firing towards the far post; only for Scott Carson to make an excellent save with his legs.
13'
Everton looking for an immediate repost as Baines swings in a free-kick from the left, but Scharner (complete with his blue and white dyed hair) heads clear.
12'
Everton's defending was poor there, to say the least.
10'
Excellent start for WBA! Brunt scoops an awkward ball over the top towards Odemwingie, who seemed to get away with a push on Distin. But Odemwingie was allowed to proceed to the byline, before pulling a ball back for Mulumbu to finish easily from close-range.

Best chance of the game falls to Odemwingie. An excellent ball over the top by Mulumbu catches Distin out of position and Odemwingie fires in a low effort with his left foot from 10 yards, but he can only find the side-netting. Good chance for WBA.
6'
Odemwingie and Thomas exchange passes on the edge of the box before Cox surrenders possession with a loose return pass.
4'
A loose ball on the edge of the WBA penalty area finds its way to Heitinga, who sweeps his first-time shot well over the bar.

This will be David Moyes’ 350th match as a Premier League manager. He has won 141, drawn 97 and lost 111 of his 349 matches so far. He will be the fourth manager to reach this milestone in the PL era after Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger and Harry Redknapp, and the third to achieve it for one club (after Ferguson and Wenger).
