CHANCE FOR WIGAN! OFF THE POST! N'Zogbia cut inside on the left then danced around Huth after giving him the double-lollipop. The French winger then hit a stunning strike that beat Begovic but crashed off the far post.

Watson's through ball is dummied by N'Zogbia. Which fools everyone and goes out for a goal kick.

Shawcross makes a great block as Cleverley pulls the trigger just inside the box. Corner. Caldwell heads well wide.

Whitehead is fouled. Midway inside the Wigan half. Free-kick. Whelan flights it in but it's cleared.

N'Zogbia crosses from the left and Stam steals in front of Higginbottom but pokes his effort well wide.

Fortune will favour the brave now.
