There are certainly shades of offside for the Liverpool goal when Suarez received Meireles's pass, but the linesman gave the visitors the benefit of the doubt on that one.

Arsenal substitution: Nicklas Bendtner replaces Walcott.

Arsenal looked on course to secure a hard-fought point under difficult circumstances, but that goal is a real blow.

GOAL!! 1-0 LIVERPOOL!! It's a Ramsey own goal! Suarez and Meireles link up well and the Uruguayan gets into the box. Miquel manages to stop the shot but clearance pings off the chest of Ramsey before looping over the helpless Szczesny and into the net!

Vermaelen does love to roma forward, and he does so here right through the cntre of the pitch and fires a 20-yard shot wide of the target! Worth a pop.

Downing charges down the left and gets his shot away from a tight angle, but Szczesny is more than equal to it.

Arsenal already under pressure after going a man down. Enrique slips a canny ball through for Suarez to try and sneak past Szczesny, but the keeper makes the close-range block.

Liverpool substitutions: Raul Meireles and Luis suarez replace Kuyt and Carroll.

FRIMPONG SENT OFF! The Arsneal midifelder, making his first Premier League start for the club, receives a second yellow card for a high-footed tackle on Lucas which sends the Brazilian flying! Not unnecessary bookings for Frimpong, and Arsenal are down to 10 men!
