Welcome to LIVE minute-by-minute text commentary of the Premier League clash between Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City.

Stoke have won five and lost none of the last six Premier League matches against Rovers and Blackburn have failed to score in five of the matches in that run.

Wilson cuts in from the left and shoots but his ambitious effort is always rising and goes comfortably over.

Dunn exchanges passes with Yakubu just outside the box but then fires his low shot straight at Sorensen.

Blackburn have made their mark early on, however; twice getting the better of the visitors from set-piece situations. No many sides do that to Stoke!

That looked a harsh decision as Samba done little wrong when getting past Shawcross, so referee Lee Mason must have seen a foul on Sorensen.

Sorensen comes to meet the corner, doesn't reach it, and Samba nips in at the back post to head home! Goal! No! It's been ruled out for a foul!

The corner comes in and Samba heads against the bar before Stoke clear for another corner.

Sorensen has to be quick off his line to clear for a corner with Yakubu lurking.

"You're getting sacked in the morning," is the early chant from the Stoke City fans. It's a little early for that, perhaps?

Hanley rises to head clear but inadvertently nods the ball to Shotton, who whips in a terrific low ball from the right but again there's no Stoke attacker to meet it.

Shotton gets forward quickly and fires in an early cross but there are no Stoke players in the box to meet it.

Rovers have won just one of the last six Premier League matches at Ewood Park – a 4-2 victory over Swansea in December. That said, Stoke have won only one of their last seven league away matches in the north-west.

Stoke won 3-1 at the Britannia Stadium when the clubs met in November. Delap, Whelan and Crouch scored for the hosts, before Rochina netted a late consolation for Blackburn.

Steve Kean makes one change to the side that beat Man Utd, with Dunn coming in and Rochina dropping to the bench, while Tony Pulis has made four changes to the starting XI that drew with Wigan, adding Woodgate, Shotton, Whelan and Whitehead in place of Wilkinson, Pennant, Delap and Palacios.
