He's made for Europe, and that win puts Toon closer to the Champions League - although Spurs' win, their goal difference and the fact they don't play Manchester City gives the North London side advantage. NEWCASTLE SUB: Busy minute this as Obertan replaces Ben Arfa.

A Lampard shot from range is deflected well wide but it's still a corner!

Drogba with a fine touch but then a poor pass, well ahead of Lampard and straight to a Magpie.

Coloccini just about flicks it wide for a corner after a nice cross from the left. Mata puts the corner in but Jonas, once more, clears.

Cisse is fractionally offside after a lovely clipped ball by Ameobi!
