Fulham could have snatched it there! Orlando Sa is played into the area by Dempsey, but his finish is awful and goes high and wide.

That was almost it! Morrison plays in Brunt on the edge of the area and the West Brom skipper sees his low shot bounce back off the post! That would have been the winner.

Danny Murphy is replaced by Dickson Etuhu and does not look pleased with the decision.

Brunt sucks in a couple of midfielders in the centre of the park and finds Odemwingie in space on the right. The striker squares to Morrison but Baird is there with a god block.

Good work on the right by Long wins a corner but it is looped into the box for Schwarzer to collect. He does so painfully though and Fulham’s replacement keeper appears kitted up on the sideline.

Dempsey pops up on the edge of the area again with lots of space, but his shot is poor and trickles wide.

Odemwingie is put in again by Mulumbu and, after twisting and turning past Baird, he skies his attempt.

Dorrans is replaced by James Morrison for the home side. Perhaps a bit harsh on Ruiz there, it was an awkward chance.

Riise wallops the free kick straight at Foster, who can’t hold on to it, and Ruiz is there to turn in the rebound? ...No! He hits the post! How did he miss?
