Villa clear and Gabriel Agbonlahor takes his turn to deny Kightly for another corner. Again Villa win the aerial battle.

Today's referee is Michael Oliver. The Northumberland official took charge of a feisty affair 1-1 draw Villa and QPR at Loftus Road back in September when he showed seven yellow cards and sent off QPR's Armand Traore.

Head-to-head: These two sides have met 103 times int he league since their first meeting in 1888. Villa have won 44 of those games to Wolves' 34. Wolves have won one of their last 15 league matches against Villa – their 1-0 PL victory at Villa Park last season when Matt Jarvis scored the goal.Villa are unbeaten in their last eight league visits to Molineux (5 wins). Their only defeat in the last 12 was 3-1 in old Division One in May 1978. When they met at Villa Park in August it was 0-0.

"We know Robbie is only here for a short space of time and it is about assessing his fitness and getting him into the right formula in the team. Players have been doing well in the team and it's not as easy as saying `right you are out - Robbie is in'. You can only pick 11 players but, of course, we are considering Robbie. He has trained well the last couple of weeks. We will definitely look to see Robbie involved and maybe for much longer than he was last week."

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy is still reeling from midweek defeat in the FA Cup: "I know the questions will be asked about the team and, if people want to point the finger at me, then so be it. But I thought that team against Birmingham should be good enough to win at home. Every single one of them were Premier League players. If I picked the wrong team, then maybe one of the players who came in should be telling me, because they all want to play and are ready to play."

Only two places seperate these two Midlands rivals in the table, but 13th-placed Villa have six points on their host, who are 16th. A win for Wolves will not be enough for that position to change even if West Brom lose at Stoke. A Villa win could send them as high as 10th, depending on other results in the afternoon kick-offs.

Striker Robbie Keane makes his full Villa debut against with his first professional club. The on-loan Los Angeles Galaxy player only appeared as a late substitute against Everton but has impressed manager Alex McLeish in training this week. Midfielder Chris Herd (ankle) and veteran striker Emile Heskey (Achilles) are still ruled out as Villa look to protect a 33-year unbeaten record at Molineux.

Wolves skipper Roger Johnson is fit and starts after missing the FA Cup replay against former club Birmingham with an ankle injury. Full-back Kevin Foley (ankle) and winger Matt Jarvis(hamstring) also return after being ruled out of the third round exit at Molineux. Nine-goal top scorer Steven Fletcher is back in the starting line-up.
