QPR don't look much like mounting a comeback here. They have played well, but with 10 men it is an extremely tall order.

Another good save from Julio Cesar, diving low to his right to push away Ramsey's powerful strike.

That goal came 270 minutes after Arsenal's last, at West Ham on October 6. Palpable relief around the Emirates.

GOAL!! At last for Arsenal! Arshavin's cross is headed goalwards by Giroud, Julio Cesar saves, Arteta heads against the bar then slams home the rebound from close range! Bizarre goal, but Arsenal will take it!

In amongst all that, Arshavin came on for the injured Gervinho.

WHAT A SAVE JULIO CESAR!! An Arsenal corner ricochets around the box - an attempted clearance hits Onuoha and spins towards the corner, but Julio Cesar makes a brilliant reflex save!

Walcott goes down in the box under a Taarabt challenge, but the penalty appeal is turned down.

RED CARD!! Madness from Stephane Mbia!! He is fouled by Vermaelen, is awarded the free-kick, but then lashes out while on the ground, kicking Vermaelen! An obvious red, utter stupidity from the QPR man.
