FACTS: Fulham have won none of their last seven Premier League matches against Tottenham, losing the last five in a row (W0 D2 L5). Fulham have scored only two goals in the last seven Premier League meetings with Spurs and one of those was an own goal by Younes Kaboul.

Andre Villas-Boas (Tottenham) on Luka Modric wanting Gareth Bale to join him at Real Madrid: "I think he should focus more on his club than ours. Obviously Modric is aware of Gareth's performances because of his love for Tottenham, but it is completely impossible [for Bale to leave]. The club has to protect our assets. We have to qualify for the Champions League, as Luka says, and for that to happen, we need the players that can make a difference. In the end we are not looking to sell."

Martin Jol (Fulham) somewhat sarcastically: “He didn’t feel appreciated financially, but I am not the one deciding over the contracts. He said it time after time again that he wanted to go to a Champions League club. Even when I said in my last conversation with him that I loved him, it was not good enough to keep him here.”

Spurs have their own ex-Fulham pair in the starting XI - expect the boos to ring heavier for Clint Dempsey than for Moussa Dembele though. Defender Steven Caulker is back after illness but Emmanuel Adebayor is still banned, while Scott Parker (Achilles), Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Younes Kaboul (both knee) are all out.

For Fulham, boss Martin Jol and striker Dimitar Berbatov are facing the clubs where they made their names in England. Former Spurs defender Steven Kelly is only on he bench though. Kieran Richardson is back on the bench after a hamstring injury but similar problems keep Alex Kacaniklic and Bryan Ruiz out. Brede Hangeland is still banned, while Kerim Frei is a surprise starter in place of Damien Duff.
