The corner almost drops to Lindegaard but hacked clear! Nani back in, now Lindegaard punts it in and Friedel claims. AND THAT'S IT! SPURS HAVE WON IT! Their first win at Old Trafford since 1989!

Vertonghen takes it down the left but Evans tackles. Scholes now to Rooney, his cross is half cleared and now Nani on the right wins a corner. Lindegaard races up!!

Sigurdsson successfully challenges Rooney and takes it into the United half before winning a free-kick off a Rooney lunge near the corner. Just what Spurs wanted.

Scholes in space, he shoots but it's blocked. Evra has it now, to Welbeck, Nani in support but Sandro gets it away. He hurts himself in doing so.

Welbeck on the left, now it's spread to Rafael on the right, Carrick back to Welbeck as United try to work space for a shot or through ball. Scholes now to Carrick, who miscontrols. Defoe on the ball now but Evans and Nani snuff out the counter.

Rafael on the right puts in a cross that Vertonghen then Huddlestone clear. United come again though. Spurs have parked the bus. Now Rafael crosses in, Evra is unmarked and he heads on goal but straight at Friedel!! No marking, Evra should have scored!

Ferdinand attempts a cross, Sigurdsson blocks it and United have a corner. The ball is flicked on by Carrick and it hits the woodwork!

SPURS SUB: Huddlestone replaced Dembele as AvB looks to shut up shop and get some more of the midfield.

United come forward again as Nani puts Rooney in, it opens up for him but he should have tried to play Van Persie through instead of blasting high and wide. Poor effort.

The corner is half-cleared as United earn a throw on the left. Now Scholes on the ball AND HE STRIKES FROM RANGE BUT FRIEDEL PARRIES! Almost a Scholes classic there.

Gallas is still on the pitch and a good thing too - a vital intervention to nod the ball away from a back-post Rooney arriving to meet Nani's cross.

UNITED SUB: Welbeck replaces Kagawa as United go for the direct option.
