Now there's a stat - courtesy of David Jones on Sky: Sunderland haven't beaten a team with 11 men since 10th March. They beat Liverpool 1-0 on that occasion - since then they have beaten QPR (Cisse s/o), Wigan (Gomez s/o) and Fulham (Hangeland s/o).

Peter Odemwingie has netted four goals in four Premier League appearances against the Black Cats. There have been four goals scored inside the opening 10 minutes of the last three Premier League meetings between Sunderland and West Brom – three of those by the Baggies.

Martin O’Neill’s side have won just one of their last eight Premier League games at the Stadium of Light (W1 D5 L2). Sunderland have only scored five goals in their last eight home Premier League matches.
