Greetings and welcome to our live coverage of the first Premier League match of the weekend as West Ham take on Fulham with a couple of exciting new signings in each squad.

And there is the half-time whistle – West Ham in complete control. Andy Carroll has changed the dynamic of their team, but to a man, the Hammers have played well. Expect Berbatov after the break.

ANOTHER GOAL FOR WEST HAM!!! Again it comes from a West Ham set play. From just inside the Fulham half Collins chips a ball into the box aimed at Carroll. Hangeland wins the header but it is poor and drops for Taylor on the edge of the area. He fires his half volley into the ground but also into the net. A romp for the Hammers here.

West Ham now trying to play it around a little bit – not all long ball stuff from the hosts.

Another ball aimed for Carroll in the box but Schwarzer can rush out and gather this one.

Again more nice passing by Fulham from right to left but no end product. Very good pressing from West Ham to be fair.

Carroll unhappy with what he though was another push in the box.

Nolan with another miss-hit this time in the area, he is popping up in great areas though.

Good counter by West Ham - Diame with some nice feet on the edge of the area but his shot is blocked by the couple of Fulham defenders in front of him.

Petric with a nice looking left foot shot but it hit Collins' head on the edge of the area.

You have to suspect that Fulham might hand a debut to Berbatov sooner than planned.

It was Matty Taylor with the corner and Reid did indeed get the header. Direct but effective goal from the Hammers – classic Allardyce.

AND WEST HAM DOUBLE THEIR LEAD!!!! Winston Reid has scored a header straight from the corner. It may have even been an own goal from Diarra – just whipped in to the six yard box and Fulham could not cope with it. Martin Jol will be furious with the defending.

West Ham have won another corner though - their fourth.

Gone a bit quiet for the first time today really as Fulham enjoy their best spell.

Fulham having lots of possession now but lacking a bit of guile. That is where they are missing Moussa Dembele.

Fulham do have a good spell of pressure and Sidwell finally spins around well and tries a low shot from distance – another decent low effort but one you would expect Jaaskelainen to save – which he does.
