There goes the final whistle! A 1-0 win for Chelsea. John Terry seals the three points for the home side.

So harsh this result on Everton. Don't deserve to lose this match, but looks like they will.

GOAL! John Terry pops up to force the ball into the net from the Lampard free-kick. Terry gets a touch to it. Howard can't hold it. And Chelsea lead 1-0. What a vital goal that could be.

Jagielka goes into the book for a late one on Ramires.

Ramires with a thumping strike for Chelsea, but the shot drops a few yards wide of the target.

Everton have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last four Premier League matches. But they are on course here.

Naismith fell heavily after challenging Cahill in the air, but he is back on the park after receiving some treatmeht.

Naismith on the deck needing some treatment. Terry with some superb defending to win the ball from Barkley as he tried to cut into the Everton box.

Ivanovic with a decent cross to the back post. Right onto the boot of Schurrle, but he clears the bar by miles with the volley.

Chelsea have never looked like breaking down Everton, but still time to change that fact.

Schurrle drives inside from out wide. Unloads a shot from distance, but Howard always had that covered as the shot flies past a post. Desperate stuff really this.

Poor stuff really from Torres. Chelsea fans continue to suffer some frustration in watching this.

Ivanovic collides with Barry before Torres wallops another shot well wide of the target.

Off goes Pienaar for Everton, and on comes McGeady. 10 minutes or so for either side to find a winning goal.

Everton going for these three points with Aiden McGeady set to be introduced in what will be a really attacking approach from Roberto Martinez's side.

Ramires with a timely tackle to win the ball ahead of Gerard Deulofeu inside his own half.

Everton really going for this match, but so are Chelsea. Distin with another clearing header right on cue. Lampard dinks the ball forward, but away by Baines.

Mirallas has departed the scene for the visiting side. He is replaced by Gerard Deulofeu for Everton.

Roberto Martinez looking fairly relaxed with his lot as Torres fires a shot miles wide after some forceful play by Hazard.
