Newcastle break with Ameobi, he fires from distance, over, and that's full time.

The ref should put this game out of its misery, as Jose Mourinho and Pardew shake hands. Mourinho might have already gone into the changing room.

Schurlle drives towards goal from the right, and despite attention from a defender, manages to get a shot at goal, but it's over. He could have given the ball right to Ba, but he wouldn't have had a much better chance.

There will be four more minutes of this.

The first corner from the left for Newcastle is out for another. Sissoko takes again, short, and plays the ball to Gosling on the edge of the box and Chelsea break. Sissoko then slides through Salah, and is possibly lucky to just get a yellow.

Salah with another chance, in yards of space, but his shot is straight at Krul. Marveaux is slipped in at the other end by Sissoko, and he fires his shot wide.

Schurrle finds Salah on the inside left. He has space to shoot, but he drags his shot well wide.

Marveaux replaces Anita for Newcastle, and Chelsea swap Schurrle for Hazard.

A rare chance, and De Jong shoots towards goal, his shot from distance dribbling towards Cech.

Chelsea back with the ball in defence after a long ball for Anita is collected by Cech.

Salah attempts a run forward from midfield but he's easily outmuscled by Ameobi, of all people.

Chelsea have only had 63% possession, down a percentage point. Mourinho out!

Willian is replaced by Salah.

Demba Ba can't keep the ball up top, and Newcastle try a rare attack. De Jong's run behind Cahill is found, he turns the ball centrally towards Ameobi, but he slices his shot wide.

It looks like Salah will be introduced soon, presumably for one of the original starting attacking four.

The corner's out to the other side, over hit. Chelsea have the ball back in front of the defence, but Newcastle win it back, Gosling attempting a break which quickly falls apart.

Both teams appear to have settled now. Willian bursts down the right, but Taylor keeps up with him and deflects a cross out for a corner.

Gosling finds Ameobi on the left, and he's obviously pushed over by Ivanovic, and then tackled fairly, conceding a goal kick.

Cahill lunges across to take the ball away from Ameobi as he looked to break down the left wing.
