Brilliant feet from Bolasie again as he wriggles past three players on the edge of the area. As he tries to get the ball on his right foot to unleash a shot Lovren does well to clear.

Poor ball from Jedinak gives the ball to Davis with some space on the right. He drives in but a poor pass from him sees Ward mop up with ease.

Saints escape and have he ball in midfield. Palace pressing high again trying ti force a mistake which occurs when Puncheon robs Shaw of the ball.

Free kick to Palace in a dangerous spot. Jedinak spanks it but it goes over the wall and then even higher over the crossbar. Poor free kick really.

Lovren lucky! Bolasie picks up the ball on the half way line and skips past two challenges. He is about to be in on goal but Lovren chops him down on the edge of the area. Yellow card. Could have been red but there were covering defenders.

Murray forces a corner from Fonte on the left wing. Ward over it but Boruc punches clear. The ballis pumped back in by Puncheon but the goalkeeper gathers it at the second attempt.

Saints, who lead 1-0, kick us off as they look to consolidate and perhaps extend their lead.

And that is half time! Breathless finish to the half as Shaw has an effort well saved by Speroni as well! Livened up after the goal. Lets hope for more of the same in the second half!

Dikgacoi nods it back into the box from the far post. It is only half cleared to Bolasie on the edge of the box who strikes it clean but Boruc gets everything behind it.

Flurry of activity as a long ball to Murray sees Fonte clear him out. Webb books him. Puncheon over the free kick on the left wing. Wanyama clears for a corner on the right.

Lambert then hits the post! Good cross again from Lallana on the right and it is cleared but only to Lambert who takes one touch to get it down before using the outsid eof his right boot to edge it to the post.

Close call there! Lallana found himself in acres of space on the right side of Palace's penalty area. He went to the byline and crossed low. It flew up past Speroni but Dann was back on the line to clear.

Shaw makes in roads down the left again and lays to Rodriguez who is outside of him. His low cross is cleared by Delaney though.

Fluid play from Palace as Bolaise lays it to Murray who gets it down and plays in Ledley but Lovren covers well and is able to clear.

Dikgacoi with endeavour but lack of quality. He pokes the ball into an area on the right side of Southampton's box but it wasn't really to anyone and Boruc is out to claim.

Murray wins yet another header but the ball drops kindly for Boruc who gathers.

Ward clatters Rodriguez on the right as the striker angles his body to get between the ball and the right-back.
