Good start to the half by Fulham as Kasami, Riether and Bent work it into the Chelsea box.

Half-time and it's goalless at the Cottage. Fulham marginally the better side, but that's not saying much - poor match.

Dejagah has space on the right, he stands it up for Riether, his cross is flicked on by Dempsey but Sidwell handles as he controls to shoot.

Dejagah can't get past Azpilicueta, and later has a little swipe at him but misses. Naughty.

Torres fouls Kasami and Fulham have a free-kick on the left. I imagine Richardson will swing this in.

Richardson is a very advanced full-back today but he fails to keep it in after one of his driving runs.

In the end Kasami shoots, with several team-mates running over it, but the effort is easy for Cech, who keeps his eye on the ball.

Fulham have a free-kick a few yards clear of the D. They take their time with what appears to be a training-ground routine...

GREAT CHALLENGE CAHILL! Dempsey was sent in by Parker but, after turning on to it, he is blocked superbly by Cahill.

Mourinho looks on, smouldering as he does. If any of the top sides can grind out a win, Chelsea can.

Dejagah gets the game's first booking after coming in late on Azpilicueta, who makes the most of it.

Fulham could break here but the final ball from Dempsey is ahead of Bent.

A scrappy spell now from both sides. I felt this game would be quite open but, so far, it's been a bit of a dirge.

Oscar swings it in but Fulham clear, Sidwell with a powerful header. Chelsea come again but once more Sidwell clears. He sends Bent away but Cahill challenges, knocking it out for a throw on the Fulham left.
