Poor work from the assistant, who should have seen that Hart clearly got the touch. The ref was quite some way behind play due to the speed of the break.

Barkley is tripped by Aguero and Everton take it quickly - Naismith gets away, he could be in here but the pass to the onrushing Lukaku is way too heavy but Hart makes a bit of a mess of it, recovering to save. But the ref awards a goal kick, clearly a corner!

The ball squeezes out to Milner on the edge of the box but his low drive is blocked! Now Zabaleta could be in but Jagielka with the challenge and Everton survive!

Near post corner from Kolarov, Toure with a diagonal run to power the header high and wide! Probably should have scored, poor marking from Everton!

This is much better from City as Kolarov wins a corner on the left, Coleman again with the block.

Kolarov surely for this as it's a shade to the right so suited to a lefty... AND HE ALMOST SCORES! He gets it up and down over the wall and it looks like it's dipping into the bottom right but inches wide!

Aguero is tripped by Osman on the edge of the box and City have an opportunity here. Soft.

Coleman clears and Mirallas is away! He races down the left, Lukaku is storming through the middle but his Belgium team-mate plays a poor low pass that is intercepted by Lescott!

Toure drills a low shot from the edge of the box, it bounces awkwardly but the diving Howard manages to parry it behind. Corner City!

Silva skips away from Osman but Distin slides in to clear. Everton clear and it's back with Hart. Better from City.

Aguero tries to get the ball past halfway with a surging run into the left channel but McCarthy closes him down to win the throw. Everton making the early running.

HART WATCH: Hart is called into action immediately as Barkley sends Lukaku through - the England keeper rushes out to claim at the Belgian's feet. Good keeping.

Some of you think City will come unstuck...

For all his recent sins, Joe Hart is still England's top keeper. This is his 125th consecutive Premier League appearance...

Got a prediction for this match? Anything to say about the form of Joe Hart and City's defending in general? Are unbeaten Everton genuine contenders or is it a matter of time before they come unstuck? Tweet me your opinions and questions @Reda_Eurosport.

City will be happy to be at home, however: their stats at Eastlands are quite frighteningly good. Manchester City have scored in 53 successive Premier League games at the Etihad Stadium, last failing to score here in November 2010 versus Birmingham City.
