We kick off and Everton win a free kick with Barkley just 35 yards out after being pushed over by Giggs.

Martinez has chosen a conservative 4-5-1 formation. Luckily for him, United's defensive weakness means that they should score regardless. United will look to take advantage of Everton's lack of Leighton Baines, who is injured for the next month, ahead of his transfer to Manchester United.

Rafael is back! Rafael is back! Football is finally worth watching again. David Moyes has for the past few weeks chosen to ignore this wonderful man, and everything that comes with him. A burning, quiet sensuality. Lovely hair. Playing with the exciting qualities that make him one of the best right-backs in the world. And he's back!

Roberto Martinez also coming out with words. His words, as you have read, suggest that Martinez wants Everton to be Everton. I'm not sure about this. Philosophically, can Everton be anything other than Everton? And if they can, why don't they try to be Bayern Munich?

Roberto Martinez: "Every fan and everyone who supports the club would expect Everton to go to Old Trafford and give them a performance they can be proud of and try to win the game. That is what I want from us because if we do that we are going to push each other and get into grounds that before we probably didn’t expect to get. Over the last 11 years we have not beaten Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool at their own grounds. We need to make sure we are ourselves."

David Moyes, there, acknowledging that Manchester United have room for improvement. Given some of his decisions so far this season, for example using Ashley Young on a football pitch, you would have been alright to think that he didn't have any idea about whether United should improve or not.
19:10
David Moyes: "We are concerned that we are not as close as we would like to be but it is a long season and I do think we have got room to get better and progress. That is without a doubt. Hopefully we will be there or thereabouts. There are a lot of games coming up in the next eight weeks and we hope to be in the mix at the end of that period."
