The Premier League is back, and one of its biggest most historic clubs kicks things off - Liverpool face Mark Hughes' Stoke City at Anfield, LIVE from 12:45!

Stoke, meanwhile, hand a full debut to new left-back Erik Pieters, a great signing from PSV. Peter Crouch is back in the fold as Mark Hughes restores him to his rightful position as main striker, with Kenwyne Jones and Cameron Jerome on the bench. Wilson Palacios, Stoke's forgotten man, is also in the first XI. Hopefully he can get his career back on track.

Otherwise, no real surprises for Liverpool as Iago Aspas starts following his excellent pre-season form. Another new signing, Luis Alberto, is on the bench.
