Good afternoon, all, and welcome to our LIVE coverage of Burnley v Manchester United. The hosts will be looking to conclude a thoroughly miserable week for their guests, in which they've spent a heck of a lot of money to little effect. Louis Van Gaal's charges, meanwhile, will want to justify their price tags and their manager's faith in them. That includes Angel di Maria, who starts this afternoon.

Wayne Rooney is one goal short of his 175th in the Premier League. If and when he gets that, he will equal Thierry Henry in third place of the all-time Premier League top scorers list, behind Alan Shearer (260) and Andy Cole (189).

Sean Dyche says that the degree of difficulty in facing Manchester United has not reduced in any way. "There's a high calibre of players on the team sheet," he points out. In terms of transfers, he is "hopeful" that there will be players coming in, but will have his phone switched off during the game. Fair enough.
