Lambert gets his first touch but his shot is blocked.

Ibe almost picks out Gerrard in the area, but Liverpool have won a corner and Rickie Lambert is on for Sterling. He attempts to get to Henderson's set piece but Everton clear.

The incident appears to have roused the hosts though as they immediately launch an attack. It comes to nothing though as Liverpool clear Coleman's cross.

That seemed to start with a heavy tackle from Besic on Ibe. Not exactly sure why either Naismith or Henderson felt the need to get involved.

It's starting to boil over at Goodison as Henderson and Naismith square up to each other. Referee Taylor books both No14s.

Lukaku dispossesses Can before winning a corner. Oviedo whips it in, Martin Skrtel clears but only as far as Lennon who slices a first-time shot high and wide.

Simon Mignolet almost gets caught in no man's land but Can nips in front of Lukaku to mop up the danger, eventually winning the free kick.

Oviedo brings Ibe down 25 yards out to give Liverpool a free kick. Gerrard swings it in but McCarthy heads clear.

Sturridge almost profits from Moreno's air shot but Jagielka blocks his shot.

Naismith finds Coleman in acres of space on the right flank but the full-back's cross is woefully overhit.

Everton win a throw in a promising position on the left wing but Besic is forced backwards and the move ends with Jagielka pumping the ball forward aimlessly.

Everton have a free kick in a dangerous position but again Liverpool clear. The game has gone into a bit of a lull since the substitutions.

Lennon gets his first couple of touches as an Everton player, tries to link with Coleman but Sakho clears.
