Leicester City's Danny Simpson: "I can't imagine anyone expecting us to get anything out of the game. We have to get into them, it doesn't matter who they are. They are coming to our place, I'm sure the fans will be up for it, especially seeing the likes of the City players coming to the King Power and we have to use it to our advantage. The effort and commitment is there, I don't think anyone can question that. We move onto the next one, we don't dwell on it and kick on. We will keep working hard and preparing for the next one. We're not dwelling on our form or what happened in the last game."

Manuel Pellegrini: "Leicester are a good team with good players and I think tomorrow we will have a tough game. We must think that if we want to win we must play in the same way as we have been doing."

Nigel Pearson: "It’s a game that we’ll need to be at our best for, if not better. They’ll have plenty of players to decide who they’re going to pick from. I’m sure there will be a number of changes from the game we saw against Roma. Whoever they select, it remains a tough game. It’s our next game and we need a result. We know that whoever plays for them they’ve got an exceptionally strong squad and we’ll have to be able to deal with whatever team they select. Ultimately we’ve still got to be able to perform ourselves and whatever they think of us, in terms of being a threat, we don’t disappoint them. We’re in need of a result. It’s not about fear or considering too much their stance on it. We’ve got a game to win for our own reasons."

MANCHESTER CITY NEWS: City are without injured striker Sergio Aguero, who will be out until next year after an injury picked up against Everton last week. Vincent Kompany is back in action, however, having not played since the win over Southampton two weekends ago, while David Silva starts after coming through his 25 minutes in the mid-week match in Rome pain-free.

LEICESTER NEWS: Kasper Schmeichel has been ruled out for at least six weeks for Leicester after breaking a metatarsal in training. Ben Hamer will deputise in goal but boss Nigel Pearson will look to sign a new goalkeeper in the January transfer window. Captain Wes Morgan returns from suspension, Leonardo Ulloa (leg) is fit but starts on the bench. Dean Hammond (calf) is back in training and makes the bench. Matt Upson is close to a return after a long-term foot injury, but will not play.
