Giroud does well to win a corner off Skrtel in the left wing. Could have been a free kick but the ref gives the corner. Alexis swings it over but cleared for another corner at the near post.

Back underway here. Markovic attempts to dribble it down the line but it is cleared for a corner off Chambers. Coutinho takes but it goes right across the goal for a throw in.

Cazorla picks it up off Sterling in the middle. He drives towards the penalty area and jinks past Toure and Gerrard but his shot flies well over the bar.

Gerrard is over the free kick on the left side but his whipped ball finds the first man. It comes out to Coutinho but he can only slash it wide under little pressure.

Lallana runs down the left wing and give it to Sterling. He takes on Debuchy who trips the winger. Turned inside out by Sterling there and gets a booking for his trouble.

GOAL! And Arsenal hit back straight away! Free kick from Sanchez on the right. He swings it to the far post where Mertesacker wins it. Flamini keeps it alive by putting it back to the far post and Debuchy gets above Skrtel to nod it home.

No less than Liverpool have deserved more because Arsenal have been so poor. It was Cazorla giving the ball away which led to that chance.

GOAL! Eating my own words! Coutinho finds some space on the edge of the area. HE turns Mertesacker for dead and then drives a low shot onto the inside of the post. Szczesny has no chance. Lovely finish.

Shock horror, Liverpool are still with the ball but showing nothing going forward. High tempo but not a lot going on to be honest.
