A win for Manchester City will take the champions back up to second, although they will have played twice more than Arsenal.

Tim Sherwood [Aston Villa]: "We certainly have the belief we can go to Man City and get something. There's an expectancy among our supporters now. We felt that at Wembley. They felt we could go there and get something and we did - and we deserved to. We have a lot of confidence from that. I am telling the boys not to be scared and get on the football in tough areas of the field - receive the ball and play. It's 11 v 11. We will have to play exceptionally well. If we do, I think we can get something there. The win at Wembley gives us a boost. It comes on the back of a good win at Tottenham too. That's two wins and two good performances. We're looking to emulate that."

Manuel Pellegrini [Man City]: "I am more interested in trying to discount one point than to lose seven. It is a positive mind. For me you are never satisfied if you do not win the title but if you cannot win it you must try to be as near the top of the table as you can. I think this club is growing every year. Maybe the media does not accept that this club in the last three years won two titles and were runners-up the other (season). This year we are very near to that position. We have five other important teams that have the same power to bring in the players they want, so every year it will be a very important fight to try and win the title. You cannot do it every year but I hope next year we will do it.."
