Hello and welcome to Eurosport's live commentary from Sunday's Premier League fixture between Manchester United and Manchester City. This is Nick Royle (@nickaroyle) taking you through all the action from the derby at Old Trafford.

GOAL: Manchester United 0-1 Manchester City. Sergio Aguero taps home his first goal in seven games as Milner puts in Silva, who rolls the ball across from the left for the unmarked Argentine to net.

WHAT A TACKLE: Silva breaks down the right and the ball is deflected straight to Toure 12 yards out, but United are able to block.

SAVE: De Gea makes a great stop to deny Navas with his feet from the right flank following Demichelis' hopeful pass forward.

Aguero gets going down the left-hand side of the United box but Smalling, uncomfortably, manages to clear. It is all City in the early stages.

Milner picks up the ball high up the left flank but is stopped in his tracks by United full back Valencia.

An early challenge from Gael Clichy on Juan Mata, on a slippy Old Trafford surface. Mata takes the proffered hand as referee Mark Clattenburg watches on.

Manchester City kick off from right to left. Looks like James Milner is going to stick close to Michael Carrick and stop United at their source.

Interestingly, Sergio Aguero has failed to net in his last six City matches - he has never gone seven without scoring.

David de Gea the most relaxed man in the stadium - the rest of the players are waiting for him in the tunnel before he eventually ambles out. There is a warm embrace between Van Gaal and Pellegrini before they walk out.

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany says Manchester United have rediscovered their will to win under new boss Louis van Gaal. "For a long time I felt we wanted it more, but I think they've been hurt pretty badly and they'll want it just as much now," the Belgian said.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal: "You start the match better as a team (with the momentum of recent results) but a derby is always special. You cannot control the effect of it as a manager, or as a team. You never know how the game develops - we will have to wait and see."

Pellegrini on James Milner: "James is always an important player for us, he has the ability to play in different positions like as a midfielder and as a striker. He was not 100% in the last game with his knee, which is why he only played a few minutes, but I hope he will return to the team today and give a good performance."

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini: "Vincent Kompany is 100% fit - he worked with us the last couple of days and he felt nothing with his groin. I don't think he will have any problems."

United have a superb record at Old Trafford this season, with 13 victories in 16 matches, the best of any team in the top flight this year.

Manchester United have not won a Premier League derby since December 2012, when Robin van Persie's late free-kick helped United to a 3-2 win at the Etihad Stadium, while the last draw between the clubs was in November 2010.

City, seeking a fifth successive derby win, have slipped to fourth place in the Premier League table after a run of three defeats in the last five league games.

Chelsea have just completed a narrow 1-0 victory over QPR in the early game at Loftus Road, thanks to Cesc Fabregas' 87th minute winner. Chelsea now have 73 points from 31 matches, 11 points ahead of third-placed United and 12 ahead of fourth-placed City.

Wilfried Bony (ankle), Stevan Jovetic (muscle) and Dedryck Boyata (knee) are all absent for City.

City captain Vincent Kompany has recovered from a hamstring injury and takes his place in what looks like a 4-5-1 formation, with Sergio Aguero the lone striker and James Milner in midfield.
