Good afternoon and welcome to LIVE text commentary of the Barclays Premier League clash between Manchester United and Queens Park Rangers at Old Trafford. The Red Devils are still searching for their first victory under new boss, Louis van Gaal after an opening day defeat against Swansea was followed by draws with Sunderland and Burnley. Harry Redknapp brings his Rangers side to the North West having never won in 14 league trips as an opposition manager. The Londoners will come into the game in upbeat mood, however, after following up back-to-back defeats to Hull and Spurs with a 1-0 success over Sunderland last time out. Kick off 4pm BST.

Louis van Gaal on what he expects from his collection of attacking superstars: "It doesn’t matter what I say now about Falcao, or Rooney or Van Persie for that matter. They are all great players, with great records, but they have to do it in the game on Sunday. They have to show their worth on the pitch. Not just the strikers but all the Manchester United players have to show themselves, in a team. It is up to them now."

Can QPR claim only a second ever win at OT? You have to go back to New Year's Day in 1992 for their inaugural success when they ran out 4-1 victors courtesy in no small part to the treble of Dennis Bailey. The result came just a day after SAF's 50th birthday!

So, Louis van Gaal hands debuts to Daley Blind and Marcos Rojo as part of a 4-4-2 diamond formation. Radamel Falcao and Luke Shaw are on the bench. Meanwhile, QPR have their own debutants with Sandro and Niko Kranjcar starting following their moves just prior to the transfer deadline. It's a 4-3-3 shifting to a more likely 4-5-1 for the Hoops. Rio Ferdinand makes his first return to OT since leaving United in the summer.

Despite seeing his side cast as the underdogs who will fall victim to Falcao and co, Harry Redknapp is relishing the chance to try and pull off his first ever league win at Old Trafford. He told reporters: "We have got to go up there and make sure that we work hard. We have got to be prepared to give them a game on Sunday. We were disappointing at Tottenham, we stood off them. We can’t do that. I was delighted with Sunderland but we have to carry that on into this game now and go up there and compete and give it a real go. It is up to us to go there and work hard and give it everything we have got. That’s what makes this job so enjoyable, to go to Old Trafford and play in a big game live on TV with the whole country watching. It is a great game to be involved in."
