Good afternoon and welcome to live coverage of Manchester United against Tottenham Hotspur. Today's game has huge implications on the race for the top four. Man Utd are desperate to bounce back from Monday's FA Cup defeat to Arsenal and rediscover the form required to get back into Europe next season.

Manchester United 3-0 Tottenham Hotspur. No more goals in the second half but United had it all wrapped up before the break. Goals from Fellaini, Carrick and Rooney were more than enough to see off a poor Spurs display. United on the other hand look rejuvenated after their defeat to Arsenal last week. United stay 4th, one point behind the Gunners, while Spurs are six points adrift of the top four in 7th.

Two added minutes. Spurs have offered very little in the second half.

Lamela slips through Kane, whose low shot at the near post is saved by De Gea is rather comical fashion. The United keeper somehow sits on the ball, saving it with his rear.

Final United change - goalscorer Michael Carrick comes off and Rafael is his replacement. Carrick has been a class act today, providing a goal and an assist. What a shame for Hodgson he has 'retired' from International football.

Eriksen manages to weave through a sea of United bodies and put in a cross but it's cleared by Rooney, of all people.

United sub - Fellaini comes off to much applause and Radamel Falcao is on in his place. The Colombian striker played for United's Under 21s last week.

Lamela tries some stepovers but Jones isn't fazed. He knicks it off the Spurs man and puts it out for a throw.

Rooney does well to keep in Fellaini's pass as United break. Blind lays it off to Young he can't find a way through.

Final Spurs change - Adebayor is on for Chadli. The travelling Spurs fans don't look too impressed by that substitution.

United sub - Juan Mata comes off to be replaced by Andreas Pereira, a 19-year-old Brazilian making his Premier League debut.

Rooney lays it off for Herrera who has low shot from range but it's wide.

A very tight call there. Herrera is deemed offside but an arm up from Walker is enough for the linesman to give it. The United play was just about on.

The game has gone a little flat. United are comfortable with their three goal lead and Spurs aren't troubling them.

Yellow for Rose after bringing down Herrera in the corner. United's freekick is cleared.

Young's corner goes out before it comes in. Spurs goal kick.

Young whips in a searching cross for Rooney and Fellaini. Rose chooses to play it safe and head behind for a United corner.

Emmanuel Adebayor is warming up for Spurs on the sidelines. Desperate times call for deseperate measures.

Blind crosses it into the box but Vertonghen sliced clearance finds Herrera. The ex-Bilbao man has time to hit a half-volley but it's into the side netting.
