Not just a hattrick - a perfect hattrick. Cap doffed.

GOAL! It's a hattrick for Walters and that is game set and match! The ball is pumped into the box, Barton gets his head on it, but Walters races onto it and heads it home on the bounce.

Barton whips in a corner and Zamora gets up ahead of everyone else but doesn't get his head on it. It's unclear how - he was in such a good position. He had done the hard bit, but just missed it completely.

It's all QPR and it's backs to the wall stuff from Stoke, the ball hammered vertically into the air and away from danger.

Fer strikes the free-kick with venom and Begovic scrambles across to beat it away.

Walters goes into the book for a cynical one from behind on Fer, who was lining up a through ball for Vargas.

Stoke have the ball in the net but Crouch had clearly taken the ball out of play on the by-line in the build-up.

Wilson on the break for Stoke sends a terribly meak ball into the box. The home fans are not happy with that. Stoke have lost their way and are just looking to see this out now.

This match is finely poised. QPR still look good. Well, I say good...much better than the first half at least. They're bombing forward - might it leave them exposed at the back?

QPR down to ten men for a moment while Austin is patched up after a cut to the head.

OFF THE BAR! Barton takes the free-kick and rattles the crossbar with his curling effort. Begovic is beaten - unlucky.

Barton goes in for a loose ball and leaps into the air like a salmon. The ref likes it, awarding a free-kick a few yeards outside of the box.

Change at teh back for the R's as Hill is replaced by Yun Suk-young, now back from injury.

Moses overruns it and goes in late on Dunne. He's on a booking and really shouldn't be doing that. Dunne stays on his feet but Moses goes down - no doubt that classic tactic to avoid punishment by feigning injury/curling up in a ball and pretending you're invisible.

Final change for Stoke as Ireland makes way for Charlie Adam. Two assists - a fine contribution from Ireland.
