And that's half time! What a time to score, as they say. That goal summed up the first half, Spurs harrying Everton, winning the ball back and driving with pace into the gaping space in front of Everton's centre backs. Spurs lead 2-1, see you in 15!

GOAL! Spurs take the lead on the stroke of half time! Aaron Lennon bursts at Everton with pace and slips in Soldado, who fires past Howard.

Everton work it wide to Baines and then back across to Coleman. They can't penetrate that back line, though, and they're going nowhere.

Blues boss Roberto Martinez wasn't too happy about that decision. He tries to get the attention of referee Michael Oliver, who does his best to ignore him. He won't give up, though, and keeps trying in true Partridge fashion. "Michael! Michael! Michael! Michael.....Michael!" Still nothing.

Mirallas is booked for kicking the ball away.

Still Spurs keep the tempo high and Everton aren't comfortable with it at the moment.

Danger at the back for Everton as Coleman doesn't get enough on his header back to Howard. Soldado, though, can't make contact and can't take advantage.
37'
Besic spreads to Coleman who cuts in and fires a dangerous shot which Lloris gets down to.
36'
Everton settle things down and enjoy some time on the ball, but their opponents look quicker in every aspect at the moment.

Just wide! Slower build-up play this time from the hosts and Eriksen lines up a shot on the edge of the box, which is deflected and flashes just wide of the post.
33'
Coleman tries to put Barkley through but it's a lost cause and the ball runs out for a goal kick.

Brilliant stuff from Vertonghen, who slides in to take the ball off Barkley before surging forward confidently. Also full of confidence at the moment is Kane, who drives at the Everton defence. It amounts to nothing, but the warning signs are there for the visitors.
28'
Again Everton look precariously open at the back as Spurs counter with pace and numbers. Kane tries a Cantona-esque chip but the ball sails over the bar.
27'
Kane goes on a bumbling run and it takes two Everton defenders to finally disposess him. Everton look under pressure now.
25'
Interesting match in prospect here. Everton are set up to attack but is it leaving them vulnerable at the back? That goal was too easy for Spurs.

Soldado did well there, his run drawing Everton's centre backs and creating the space for Kane to run into. Howard won't be too happy about not holding onto that shot though.

GOAL! Spurs are level! Kane runs at the Everton defence and Howard can only parry his shot into the path of Eriksen, who scuffs the ball home.
19'
Danger for Spurs! Lloris does what Lloris does best and sprints out to clear a sloppy, sloppy backpass that Lukaku was tracking down.
