STAT: Manchester United have not won any of their six PL away matches played on a Sunday in the calendar year of 2014 (two draws, four defeats). Their last such victory came with their 3-0 win at Aston Villa on Dec 15th 2013.

Amazing it’s still 0-0 here. United have had plenty of chance to be ahead but the Spurs defence has held firm.

Surely van Persie should score. He takes it down brilliantly in the box but wants an extra touch on his right foot and allows Lloris to make the save.

UNITED SO CLOSE! Lloris is rooted to the spot as Mata’s free kick deflects onto the post and Spurs somehow clear it off the line under pressure from Falcao and van Persie.

This match really bubbling nicely now. Both teams wiling to attack. Van Persie brought down on the edge of the box from Vertonghen and THIS is a good chance…
