FT: Arsenal 2-1 Man City. The Gunners will be second at Christmas, just two points behind surprise leaders Leicester. A pair of assist for Ozil helped Walcott and Giroud put them in control at the interval. City finally came to life in the shape of Yaya Toure and his exquisite finish, but it proved too little, too late for the Citizens who are in third spot, six points adrift of the Foxes. Arsenal held on and will feel their title challenge is well and truly on course. As for city, Pellegrini welcomed Aguero back for this but he needs to address their alarming league away form that has seen them not win on their travels since September.
